If you’ve got some O-shaped cereal (no sugar or other stuff added), maybe a few fresh cranberries and some wire, you have the makings of a beautiful holiday ornament for the birds!
First, we shaped the wire in a wreath, star, heart…. planning the two wire ends to meet at the top of the shape. Then, we threaded the O’s and berries on the wire (Maria Montessori would have liked this craft). We decided to attach a holly twig as a perch (wash your hands well, holly berries are poisonous to humans!) and added a string loop for hanging.
