Over 2 miles of paved pathway, ideal for bikes and scooters, loop around the park and school. And a charming mowed trail parallels the brook with pretty vignettes and wetland overlooks. Bird houses dot the underbrush and crops of trees. The sparrows clearly feel welcome, bustling through the berry bushes with a hectic glee in mid January. Idyllic benches are scattered throughout, along with a Free Little Library. The land’s former use as a “self-sustaining mental health village” explains the smattering of relics visible from the trail.
