Even this well-groomed portion of Lake Carnegie tucks away a secret little wilderness, complete with a treehouse.
Spanning the stretch of shoreline between Washington and Harrison, this footpath is as varied as it is brief. From Broadmead Street, you have (at least) three options: follow the footpath through the woods toward Washington Road, which will lead you to the pier; head for the sweeping view of Lake Carnegie from the water’s edge toward Harrison Street; or dive right into the thicket along the spur path – in search of the treehouse (boots advised).
