Stonebridge Preserve

Stonebridge Preserve

Tunneling through the cedar grove that kicks off this footpath, no one could predict the dramatic river ridge or expansive wildflower meadows lying in wait.

There are at least 4 points of access to this preserve; I recommend starting at the parking lot on Montgomery Avenue and making the full 1-2 hour loop. For the longest route, just keep tending left. Eventually, you’ll emerge onto Montgomery Ave. at a point not too far from where you parked.

There’s also an even, paved bike path that makes a smaller, inner loop.

AS A WINE….

A wonderful Merlot that is earthy, luscious and structured and unfolds in highly entertaining and varied phases.
