You’ll feel as if you’ve wandered into a landscape painting. A really pricey one. This kind of magic just doesn’t usually show up in real life. The trail flows generally uphill from near the intersection of Ortega Ridge Road with Sheffield Drive and Jameson Lane – or downhill from Ortega Ridge Road – passing through wildflower meadows and under botanical archways. Views span the entire valley, from the Santa Barbara Harbor, across the ranches and luxury estates to the Santa Ynez Mountains.
CONNECTING FOOTPATHS:
It’s a short walk from the top of the trail at Ortega Ridge Road to the Summerland Loop Trail.
