Tucked between Herrontown Woods and the Blue Spring Road development, Autumn Hill Reservation has quietly lingered under the radar for a long, long time. Quirky relics point to its history: old stone walls, a rusted vintage car, picnic bench thickly padded with moss and a sign for a once-upon-a-“scenic overlook.” And going even farther back in time, the preserve is spotted with bundles of basalt boulders that make great climbing apparatuses.
