There’s stiff competition on either side of Micheltorena Street for kids’ attention. On one side, the Alice Keck Garden has a pond full of turtles with an island and a gazebo as well as stepping stones and secret little pathways running through gorgeous flower groves. There are even vintage metal information stations that, when you push a button, tell you what’s special about surrounding plants. Across the way, kids scamper around a fantastic multi-story wooden play structure complete with bridges, turrets and slides!
