Ok, “secret” might be a bit overstated – but this mini footpath ventures through an unexpected little beach jungle between tangles of old trees, with sand and snowy white shell chips underfoot and the lighthouse towering overhead.
Take your first right into the woods (opposite the nature center and before you reach the lighthouse) to start the loop.
AS A WINE….
The beachy jungle setting takes my palate to Australia – so this is an Aussie Chenin Blanc to me, with bracing green-apple acidity, passionfruit, spices, floral and earthy notes.
