A pretty little loop through Colonial Park’s woods swoops from the parking lot across a boardwalk, along Spooky Brook Pond and back again. There were plenty of fish to occupy three herons and several groups of fisherkids. The whole loop is under a mile but you could easily spend an hour exploring this enchanting wooded waterscape.
CONNECTING FOOTPATHS
Colonial Park is overflowing with exciting adventures along the paved paths that cross the park to the Arboretum, Rose Garden, Perenial Garden and Canal Towpath. Not to mention the amazing playground, paddle boatt lake and mini golf course.
