Poised atop a seaside cliff, this place would be marvelous even without the bocci court, ping pong tables, grape trellises, nice playground, clean toilets, and dog washing kiosk (not kidding). But what sets it apart for the footpather in me is the little sneak of a trail around the chain link fence at the back corner that passes the railroad and zig zags through a valley of nasturtiums to the beach with expansive views up and down the coast. A few meters up the beach, a paved pathway completes the loop back up to the parking lot.
