Trails scamper throughout this broad ridge, often across long planks and artisanal bridges with landmark destinations (like Counsel Rock or Pond View) that do not disappoint.
You can spend a day exploring the yellow, blue, white and red trails and find yourself tracking adventuresome footpaths, tangoing with a flirty brook or poised atop a mammoth boulder launching calls to hear them boomerang back.
Woodfield is vested with age which gives it an air of wisdom. Not too many feet seem to tread here on a given day, but the years have brought thousands through.
