If you’re a fan of the English countryside like me, your heart will swell at the views in this lovely shire, complete with a village steeple and farm silos. On the diagonal walk between the two main parking areas you’ll pass a picturesque red barn, creek, pastures and sweeping views. But the peripheral pathways are worth exploring too, getting you deeper into the woods and higher above the pastures.
AS A WINE….
White Bordeaux, heavy on the Semillon for a creamy, gentle, round rendition of golden apple, lemon, hay and honey.
