Hidden in plain sight, a wonderland of trails and little creek canyons weaves through the Woodlot Park woods. We dove in behind the pond and followed the yellow trail to the blue, past some idyllic beaches and monumental trees. The blue trail deposited us at the amphitheater end of the park – right beside a deer clan.
The park also has a shaded playground, lots of picnic benches and expansive recreational fields.
DIRECTIONS
AS A WINE….
A succulent Merlot with a good deal of chewy tannin – friendly and familiar, but with some distinctive quirks.
