You’ll see a fighter jet, 911 memorial, veterans’ memorial, formal gardens, Seward Johnson sculpture and sprawling playground before you even reach the main parking lot. Explore the 333 acres a bit to find a lovely lake with two sweet little islands in the middle, expansive wetlands, sprawling paved paths, woodsy footpaths and bike trails, a massive sports complex, which, in addition to ample tennis and beach volleyball courts as well as soccer and baseball fields, also appears to include a street hockey court – all beside two (temporarily closed) museums housing Native American, Revolutionary and Civil War relics – and a dog park. Plus whatever I forgot to mention.
AS A WINE….
This is a whole portfolio tasting – with something for absolutely everyone – and their dogs.
