Nayfield Preserve Trail

Nayfield Preserve Trail

A broad meadow welcomes you at the very start of the trail, along with ecological art in the form of intriguing flower sculptures that function as bee coves. A lovely loop begins and ends in the meadow – with a tour through mature woods and a brief appointment with a refreshing, boulder-riddled stream. There is a diverse representation of trees that begins with deciduous varieties, cuts through a thicket of conifers and includes at least one ginkgo!

A Boy Scout troop was working on a cool framework to house “bee abodes” created by FOHOS supporters – a perfect compliment to the ecological art a few feet away.
