How privileged we all are, with our open invitation to step into this timeless, seemingly boundless, no-expense-spared, aristocratic park at our leisure (Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm). From the grand orientation center (which includes a cafe), paths flow through meadows and allees past several waterfalls, intriguing ruins and monuments, a clock tower, an orchid house, and a meditation garden complete with an iconic Guzei bridge. The elegant setting seems befitting of a stroll in your Sunday best with a parasol, but you’re much better off bringing or renting ($5 kids/ $7 adults) a bike to cover a satisfying portion of the 18 miles of trails.
It’s worth taking a look here for the rich repertoire of classes and programs for all ages throughout the year.
